The Nikolaihof Wachau is Austria’s oldest winery and produces exclusively white wine according to strict biodynamic guidelines.
In addition to biodynamic wines, the estate produces many raw materials that are transformed into high-quality, sensuous products.
These include traditional items such as Wachau apricot jam and elderflower syrup, as well as very special offerings like green walnuts steeped in nut liqueur—and, of course, Christine Saahs’ cookbooks.
In addition, visitors can discover, sample, and purchase products from “dieNikolai,” the world’s first Demeter-certified organic grape-based skincare line.
At the farm stand in Salon 77, the current wine selection, selected aged rarities, and cosmetic products are available for tasting, trying, and purchasing.
In a stylish, cozy atmosphere, the certified organic Nikolaihof Weinstube invites you to sit under the Kaiserlinde tree in the summer while enjoying traditional Wachau cuisine and delicious vegetarian dishes, sourced primarily from its own large vegetable garden.
