In every wine-producing region along the Danube, wine shops invite you to taste and buy the wines of the region. Regional wine bars offer a wide selection throughout the region – often in spectacular locations such as the Loisium in Langenlois or the Weritas in Kirchberg am Wagram. Smaller shops and private wine shops often have a special range on offer.
Many wine shops sell the wines at farm-gate prices. That means: as favourable as at the winery itself. Selected wines can be tasted either free of charge or for a small fee. It is not uncommon for winegrowers themselves to stand behind the bar. A particularly good opportunity then to get first-hand tips.
