In spring, more winegrowers open their wine cellars at the same time than ever before in the wine year to allow visitors to taste the young wines. The wine spring events in the wine regions along the Danube in Lower Austria promise a particularly wide variety of wine enjoyment. In the wine-growing regions of Wachau, Krems Valley ("Kremstal" in German), Kamp Valley ("Kamptal" in German), Traisental, Wagram and Carnuntum, the new wine vintages are the stars on the weekends between mid-April and mid-May.
