In 1862, the Stierschneider family took over the Kartäuserhof. The business has been expanded over 3 generations to its current production volume of around 100,000 bottles.
The vineyards are located on south-facing terraces in the Achleiten, Klaus, Weitenberg, Hinterkirchen, Steinriegl and Pichl-Point vineyards.
