The Gattinger Winery has high standards for quality! The wines’ drinkability is the foundation of its success! Andreas and Martina Gattinger cultivate 4.5 hectares of vineyards in prime Wachau locations. These include Steinriegel, Achleiten, Vorderseiber, Hinter der Burg, Hinterkirchen, and the heart of the estate: Weitenberg! The family winery is nestled on Weitenberg, overlooking the Danube.
In addition to the Wachau’s signature varieties, Grüne Veltliner and Riesling, Chardonnay, Muskateller, and Pinot Blanc can also be tasted and purchased directly at the winery by appointment. Rosé wines and red wines made from Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon, as well as the cuvée named Telos, are delicious rarities just waiting to be discovered.
