At Gaumenweide, nature takes center stage. The cuisine follows a clear philosophy: authentic, regional, and mindful. The restaurant uses almost exclusively ingredients that are locally produced by farmers and producers with whom it has close partnerships.
You won’t find anything exotic on the menu—instead, you’ll discover potatoes, tomatoes, and other local staples in diverse, creatively interpreted dishes. Austrian cuisine serves as the foundation, but is thoughtfully reimagined with fresh ideas.
Dining on the spacious terrace by the water lily pond is particularly idyllic. Water features accompanied by music and the view of the surrounding gardens create an extraordinary atmosphere—ideal for savoring the moment and slowing down. For pre-booked special events, the venue can also be used outside of regular opening hours.
