The "Grand Tour" of the Römerland Carnuntum Cycle Tour combines nature, technology and cultural landscape to create an interesting cycling experience.

The cycle tour begins south of the airport and initially leads along country lanes and tree-lined avenues. The section parallel to the runways offers a special experience, providing a unique insight into airport operations. After circling the southern border of the airport, the route passes the wine cellar lane of Klein-Neusiedl and crosses the Fischa-Au. From Enzersdorf, long field paths lead to the well-known wine villages of Arbesthal, Göttlesbrunn and Höflein. The route continues past wind turbines, with views of the Ellender forest, through Scharndorf and Regelsbrunn. Along the railroad line and Pressburger Straße, you reach Maria Ellend before heading back to Fischamend and the airport via field paths, which you cross on the airport cycle path. The tour ends with a stretch along the picturesque Danube floodplain to Schwechat, where the Albern harbor can be seen. The tour ends at the starting point, Schwechat railroad station.
