The Stift Klosterneuburg winery is considered the oldest continuously operated winery in Austria and has been inextricably linked to the country's winegrowing history since 1114. In the best locations around Klosterneuburg, Vienna and the Thermenregion, Stift Klosterneuburg cultivates 108 hectares of vineyards, making it one of the largest and most renowned wineries in Austria. Careful cultivation of the vineyards, centuries of experience and openness to new ideas form the basis for high-quality wines full of character.
A special experience is the historic baroque wine cellar, which extends over three floors deep underground. On more than 2,000 m², natural ventilation ensures a unique, constantly cool climate - ideal conditions for maturing wines. This impressive cellar can be visited as part of a guided tour.
Fruit growing also has a long tradition at Stift Klosterneuburg: classic apple varieties such as Golden Delicious, Granny Smith and Jonagold are processed into high-quality, varietal juices.
