Hiking tour Starting from
From Maria Laach, with its famous Gothic pilgrimage church and the miraculous image of "Maria Sechsfinger", we hike approx. 4 km between meadows and fields up a hill to the hamlet of Weinberg, from where we can enjoy fantastic panoramic views of Maria Laach, Schallaburg and the Alpine foothills. In Zeißing, a cozy picnic area invites you to linger. Of course, we can also explore the ruins of Zeißing Castle and return to Maria Laach soon afterwards. The hiking trail is uniformly signposted with yellow signs throughout.
