Karl Brindlmayer is the sixth generation of his family to be responsible for the family winery and is making his enthusiasm palpable to a wide audience. The estate was first mentioned in a document in 1557 and the family has lived there since 1833. The new website byKarl.at simply stands for Brindlmayer Karl Austria. It embodies not only the multi-faceted lineage of the winery, but also sustainability as a way of life. In one place, vinification in the traditional wine cellar is combined with a modern ambience on the estate, which also conveys an attitude to life with a view through cultural events. The terraced vineyards stand on calcareous soils, sometimes characterized by deep loess and conglomerate rock, while on the east side of the Traisen, a fresh and cool wine character is transported by loamy-sandy soils.

Wine assortment: The varied assortment is not only of high quality, but also has a clear structure in which our customers & friends can easily find their favorite. From the appellation "Traisental DAC" we offer Grüne Veltliner - classic or reserve - and Riesling. Our classics also include Gelber Muskateller, Rivaner, Bouvier and Chardonnay. Another focus is on the Zweigelt variety, which is produced as a light rosé, as a classic red wine and as a mature site reserve. The focus is on our Grüne Veltliner site wines (Rosengarten, Kogl, Sonnleithen) and the particularly powerful "Brigos" brand. The range of wines is rounded off by Prädikat wines (including Beerenauslese) and sparkling wines such as Brizzante (Brindlmayers Frizzante) and Gelber Muskateller sparkling wine from traditional bottle fermentation.
