One of the most famous vineyards in the Krems Valley ("Kremstal" in German) with a great view of the south bank.

One of the best-known vineyards on the border between the Krems Valley ("Kremstal" in German) and the Wachau. However, it is not assigned to the Wachau, but to the Krems Valley ("Kremstal" in German). Ried Pfaffenberg offers a great view of the south bank. Steep, south-facing terraces, very exposed to the wind and located directly on the Danube. The barren and hard weathered stone soils on the Pfaffenberg consist predominantly of gneiss and granite; the vines only find a very thin layer of weathering. Parking in Förthof, depending on availability.
