Ybbs 3 - Panoramarunde

· Wear hiking boots.
· Use hiking poles.
· Rain gear is always advisable.
· Bring a hiking map with you.
· Carry enough drinking water with you.
· Please do not leave your trash behind on the trail.
· Respect the sensitive habitats of flora and fauna.

You undertake the suggested hikes at your own risk and on your own responsibility.

We recommend hiking boots, a backpack, a hiking map and/or a mobile route planner, weatherproof clothing (e.g., rain gear), a hat, sunscreen, a first-aid kit, possibly a flashlight, and enough food and drink to keep your energy up (water, snacks).

Sponsored by Raiffeisenbank The Yellow Panorama Loop features many scenic viewpoints. The highlight is the iconic spot at Marienhöhe. The loop leads from the main square along the Danube via Scharlreith to Marienhöhe, where you’ll find the Danube viewpoint overlooking the power plant. The route continues via Reitern, Roßberg, Theinstetten, and Reitering back to Ybbs. The loop offers wonderful views of Ybbs and the Danube Valley.

Parking is available at the main square or along the Ybbs Danube Promenade.

Ybbs is easily accessible via the A1 Westautobahn; take the Ybbs exit. At the roundabout, take the first exit and then continue straight ahead toward the town center.

Coming from Krems or Grein via Wachauerstraße (B3), then across the Ybbs-Persenbeug Danube Bridge; it’s about 1.5 km to the town center.

Take the ÖBB to the Ybbs/Kemmelbach train station ( check the schedule). From the station, take the bus to the center of Ybbs an der Donau. For more information on bus schedules, visit www.vor.at
