The Ybbser Au loop initially leads briefly along the Danube and via the Aupromenade you pass directly by the sewage treatment plant. Continue along the Ybbs river road past the Red Cross and a small bathing pond through the district of Au. You reach Unterau via the Ybbs dam. Here you pass the Jewish cemetery, which was recently restored after being desecrated by the National Socialists as part of a school project, continue through Griesheim and via the leisure center back to the starting point.
