Wachau World Heritage Trail 13 - Access Railway Station Furth-Palt

From Furth-Palt station, the route takes you a short distance through the vineyards to join the World Heritage Trail, stage 13, at Zellergraben.

From the train station, the trail first turns right and then left into Bahnhofstraße. After crossing the main road at Schönkreuz, the route continues straight ahead before turning left at the next opportunity. The Zellergraben is reached via the Katzengraben and thus the connection to the Welterbesteig Wachau - Wachau World Heritage Trail is established. At this point, the route turns right onto stage 13 towards Mautern, left towards Furth and on to Unterbergern.

Thanks to good rail connections, a relaxed and sustainable journey to the Wachau is easy. A dense network of public transport in the region ensures that all stages can be easily reached by bus, train, ferry and boat. This also makes it very easy to combine different stages.
