The well-signposted hiking route can be followed all year round and starts at Ignaz Josef Pleyel-Platz. It then continues via Kirchengasse to Riedweg. On sunny days, hikers can enjoy a unique view of the entire Tullnerfeld and the striking peaks of the Alpine foothills such as Schneeberg, Rax and Ötscher. As you walk along the Riedweg, you can admire the wonderful vineyards on the southern slope of the Kogel before heading back towards the "Siedlung" district. From there, you walk past the Müller horse stud farm to the Loretto Chapel. The route then continues across the Hinterfeld past numerous wayside shrines and crossroads to the Lottersteig. The route then continues to the Mammuthütte, where you can take a short break. Refreshed, the route continues past the Hahnkreuz cross through the Steinmaißlgraben to the Beberlberg. Here there is a public barbecue area with a beautifully landscaped garden. At the end of the route, you return to the village of Ruppersthal via Baumgartnerstraße and after 300 meters you reach the start/finish point Ignaz Pleyel Platz : Starting from Ignaz-Pleyel-Platz in front of the church, the hiking trail leads past the Bründl Chapel, then through the vineyards on the slopes of the Kogelberg, on to Ruppersthal Castle, via the Loretto Chapel, past numerous wayside shrines and crossroads to the Lodersteig. Continue for approx. 2 km across country to the Hahnkreuz, through the Steinmaisslgraben to the Beberlberg. At the "Dicken Kreuz" there is a turn-off to the Grossweikersdorf circular hiking trail. After a total of 10 km, the hiking trail ends at the birthplace of Ignaz J. Pleyel, which today houses the museum of the same name.
