Description

The first stage leads from Wolfsthal to the medieval town of Hainburg an der Donau. The second stage Hainburg - Petronell-Carnuntum along the Roman Danube Limes offers the Top Excursion Destinations of the Roman town of Carnuntum and the imposing Heidentor as highlights. The third stage leads from Petronell-Carnuntum with its impressive Roman town of Carnuntum to Maria Ellend, where you can visit the pilgrimage church and the Lourdes Grotto. The fourth stage, Maria Ellend - Schwecht, offers a particularly beautiful section through the Donau-Auen National Park.
