Klosterneuburg is a small town on the outskirts of Vienna with a long history. The impressive Stift Klosterneuburg, built by Margrave Leopold III, has its roots at the beginning of the 12th century. The Happyland adventure pool is located in the Au, a recreational area near the Danube, just a few steps away from the center of Klosterneuburg with its diverse shopping opportunities, Stift Klosterneuburg and the modern Kunsthaus Essl art museum.

The start and finish of the picturesque, varied and very flat 5.6 km route are located directly at the parking lot of the Happyland adventure pool.

The route (3,140 m or 5,600 m) is ideal for runners and Nordic walkers alike. In addition to the signposts, it is also marked with the hotel's own plastic ribbons.

From the start and finish point in front of the "park inn", we set off on completely flat terrain on asphalt.

Shortly before km 1, we turn right onto the hiking trail along the Klosterneuburger Durchstich. The famous "Albertina Klosterneuburg" can be seen on the opposite side.

After 1.1 km we have a wonderful view of the Klosterneuburg monastery.

After around 1.7 km, we turn into the idyllic Aupark and after around 2.4 km we reach the original path again, which leads us back to the Happyland adventure pool.

Less fit runners can finish their workout here after 3,140 m.

If you want to continue, cross the road and continue on a paved path.

After just over four kilometers, we turn left onto Martinsweg, at the end of which we have a beautiful view of St. Martin's Church.

At the end of Martinsweg, we turn left and walk back along Unterer Martinsteg, with the Klosterneuburger Durchstich to the right.

After 5.6 kilometers we reach the start and finish point in front of the Happyland adventure pool (In der Au, 3400 Klosterneuburg).
