Hiking tour Starting from Furth Municipal Office
Town Center (Town Hall) - Obere Landstraße - turn right after the railroad underpass - Villenweg - stairs toward the Abbey - turn left and go up to the south entrance (Youth Hostel) - turn left toward St. George’s Church - Turn right at the fork toward Predigtstuhl - continue north around the mountain - cross the driveway to the monastery - Obere Landstr. - Panholzstr. - forest path behind the Panholz settlement back to the starting point.
Bus:
From Krems train station, take bus 488 to "Furth b. Göttweig Ortsmitte."
Train:
From Krems train station, take the R44 train to “Furth/Göttweig Bahnhof.” Then walk for 1 minute.
