F2 Wanderrunde Furth - Waxenberg und Mammutbäume

Town Center (Town Hall) – Obere Landstraße – turn right after the railroad underpass – Villenweg – stairs toward the monastery – turn right onto the forest path along Göttweiger Berg – turn left before the railroad tunnel over the pass (Hals) toward Klein Wien – cross the railroad tracks and the state highway at Ghf. Schickh – St. Blasien Weg toward Waxenberg – at Schwarzer Lacke, turn left to the summit. Giant sequoias – continue straight at Schwarzer Lacke – Bruckweg to the left – next junction to the right – giant sequoias (Adalbert – rest stop) - Bruckweg - Untere Zellerstraße - Schickh Inn - back over the pass to Furth.

From Krems train station, take bus 488 to "Furth b. Göttweig Ortsmitte."

Train:

From Krems train station, take the R44 train to “Furth/Göttweig Bahnhof.” Then walk for 1 minute.
