The Danube is the focal point of this cycling loop. Riding alongside its glistening waves, you’ll enjoy wonderful views of the river landscape and floodplains, especially as you cross the two bridges.

Krems – Danube cycle path to the Traismauer Danube Bridge – Krems
The loop starts in Krems and follows the Danube cycle path eastward, crosses the bridge, and continues toward Tulln. It crosses the St. Georgs Bridge back to the other bank of the Danube, and then heads through the floodplain back to Krems.
The starting point, Krems, is accessible by train and bus. www.vor.at
