D1 Waldlehrpfad Droß

This one-and-a-half-hour hike takes hikers to the most beautiful places in the municipality of Droß and provides exciting information about the forest.

The route starts in the center of the village at the town hall and first leads to the Föhrenteich pond. The Poberkreuz is reached via the Bannholz, then the route continues to the Rote Kreuz, which impresses with far-reaching views of Göttweig Abbey, the Danube, the Tullnerfeld, the Vienna Woods and the foothills of the Alps. Via Droß or Priel, past the historic wine press and a wayside cross, the trail leads back to Droß.
