Outside of Dürnstein at five large paid parking lots. The town center of Dürnstein is reachable within 5 - 10 minutes on foot.

A1 to the St. Pölten junction, then continue on S33 and B3 via Krems to Dürnstein.

By Train & Bus:
The nearest major train station is Krems an der Donau, which is served regularly by trains from Vienna, St. Pölten, and the Waldviertel. From the Krems train station, VOR regional buses run directly to Dürnstein several times a day. www.vor.at

Wachaubahn (seasonal): During the season, the Wachaubahn runs between Krems and Emmersdorf and also stops in Dürnstein. www.wachaubahn.at
