Hiking tour Starting from Bus stop Aggstein at Aggsteinerhof
Experience the apricot blossom on the south bank of the Wachau, on the approx. 1.6 km long pleasure hiking trail in Aggstein, easy to walk, no inclines and also suitable for baby carriages.

Get off at the Aggstein bus stop in Aggstein (address 3394 Aggstein, Donauweg 3), walk a short distance westwards along the main road, at the Aggsteinerhof inn to the Danube, along the Treppelweg or cycle path along the Danube in a westerly direction. Cycle along the Danube to the west, cross the main road at Marillenstraße, along Marillenstraße to Schlossleiten and back to the bus stop via the large parking lot of the ruins.

From Vienna and Salzburg: Westbahn to Melk – bus connection to Aggstein VOR bus line 720. Bus stop Aggstein Aggsteinerhof (address 3394 Aggstein, Donauweg 3)
From Vienna: Franz-Josefs-Bahn to Krems – bus connection to Aggstein VOR bus line 720.
