Ortskapelle Unterzögersdorf

The Roman Catholic chapel in Unterzögersdorf is located in the center of the village and is dedicated to St. Charles Borromeo. It belongs to the Stockerau parish of the Archdiocese of Vienna and is a listed building. The historicist building was constructed between 1879 and 1880 and has a round arch apse, pointed arch windows and a façade tower with a pyramid roof. Inside there is a square vault, an apse conch and floral stained glass. The furnishings include an altarpiece by Jos. Cajetan Hanke and a baroque crucifix.
