The Luftberg rises above the village of Aggsbach—a small but particularly charming lookout point in the Wachau region. From here, an impressive view opens up over the Danube Valley, the village of Aggsbach, and the forested slopes of the Dunkelsteinerwald.
The Luftberg Trail, approximately 4 kilometers long, leads from the town center up to the lookout point and back again. This short detour to the Luftberg is rewarded with a magnificent panoramic view and can be wonderfully combined with a hike through the Wachau countryside.
