Florianiplatz is a historic square in Traismauer that is home to the old Schlosserhaus and the Hungerturm.

The multi-story tower was built in late antiquity as a Roman horseshoe tower and is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Danube Limes.

Today, the Hungerturm invites visitors on an exciting journey through time with its exhibition “Schützen und Archäologie.” Here, visitors can discover artistically designed historical shooting targets. The Hungerturm is not wheelchair accessible.

The Old Locksmith’s House is located next to the Hungerturm, right on Florianiplatz, and is a popular meeting place for art lovers.

A wide variety of handicrafts are presented here, which can also be purchased on-site.

On select dates, demonstrations are also held in the historic Schlosserhaus, where visitors can experience the art of blacksmithing.

Hours: March through December, every Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
