Description
The 3-star hotel is located in the historic center of Melk, in the Wachau World Heritage Site, right at the foot of the baroque abbey. All the sights in the region can be reached quickly and easily. The boat landing stage (Danube boat trip between Melk and Krems) is only 500 m away from the Wachauerhof. The Wachauerhof is located directly on the Danube cycle path and offers a shelter for bicycles. The hotel has its own parking lot and bus parking spaces. The train station and the A1 highway are in the immediate vicinity.
Culinary delights are served by an international team in the a la carte restaurant "s'Schmankerl", where traditional Austrian specialties and fine wines from the Wachau region are served. Tradition is written in capital letters in the rustic "s'Gwölb". Heuriger evenings and wine tastings await you in an extraordinary ambience.
