The Gästehaus Schütz is located about 2 km from Spitz an der Donau in Schwallenbach, in the middle of the gently undulating Wachau.
Five spacious double rooms, each with shower/WC, satellite TV, free WLAN and equipped with fridge are available. There is also a 50 m² apartment with living room, dining area, separate bedroom with double and extra bed, kitchen and private bathroom with shower/WC.
A rich traditional Wachau breakfast is included in the price and ensures a successful start to the day.
Free rental bikes are available to guests - ideal for tours along the Danube cycle path and through the Wachau wine landscape. The farm's own garden offers a lovely atmosphere with seating areas to relax and enjoy the rural tranquillity.
The Schütz apricot farm also cultivates around 1 hectare of apricot orchards with traditional Wachau varieties such as "Klosterneuburger" and "Ungarische Beste".Guests can purchase fresh Wachau apricots from the farm (mid-July to early August), as well as apricot jam, nectar and schnapps - ideal as a gift or souvenir.
The Danube cycle path runs directly through the village, making any tours into the surrounding area particularly convenient.
