A vacation at Bioweingut Schmidl means having the opportunity to be active in sports, discover the cultural landscape, immerse yourself in culinary delights or simply relax and unwind. We are a family business and have been cultivating our vineyards and apricot orchards according to organic-biological guidelines since January 2009. Our top vineyards include the Kellerberg, Küß den Pfennig, Hollerin, Wunderburg and Supperin. The center of Dürnstein, the train station, the Danube and a small supermarket are only a few minutes' walk from the winery.
We have 3 guest rooms at our winery. The rooms Hollerin, Küß den Pfennig and Wunderburg, named after our vineyards, are elegantly furnished and have a separate bathroom with toilet, a small kitchen, TV with satellite connection and, in addition to plenty of storage space and comfortable beds, a couch where you can read a book or take an afternoon nap.
You should stay longer in Dürnstein to really enjoy the Wachau and the vineyards. At our winery you can not only enjoy fine wines, we also have a traditional wine tavern where we serve fine regional delicacies at certain times.
