The Alter Winzerkeller in Kirchberg am Wagram, run by the Vogel family since 1998, is a characteristic building in a region traditionally characterized by viticulture. The historic press house with two large, elongated cellar vaults forms the core of the Alter Winzerkeller. A structural extension and addition of a granary (Schüttkasten) dates back to 1824.
The listed ensemble was carefully renovated and converted into a hotel with a vinotheque. The attic and the first floor of the former granary have been converted into guest rooms. A spacious apartment offers space for up to four people on two levels. All rooms are furnished with light wooden floors, double beds with open foot ends and split mattresses as well as Biedermeier furniture. There is also a minibar, satellite TV and WLAN. The bathrooms have showers. The Alte Winzerkeller also offers a terrace/guest garden, a baby crib, bicycle rental, farm shop, an e-bike charging station, a bicycle storage room and a sunbathing lawn.
