Vorspannhof Mayr is located in Dross, just a few kilometers from the wine town of Krems. Our farm once served as a horse changing station with an attached inn and farm, but today we concentrate on viticulture. As winegrowers, we are committed to tradition and quality. Our aim is to vinify wines from the Krems Valley ("Kremstal" in German) that are typical of the grape variety and vineyard and that impress with their elegance and drinkability. We want to press authentic wines that have not been altered by daring technology or treatment methods. It is particularly important to us to treat our resources with respect - the vineyards, the old vines, the landscape, the buildings, the wine culture and the people. Farm sales: Monday to Friday by appointment, Saturday open from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm.
