The Museum ERLAUF ERINNERT deals with the history of World War II and the end of the war, National Socialism and its consequences, with remembrance culture, as well as with the effect of contemporary art, which has a long tradition in the public space of Erlauf. All these topics are treated in the newly created exhibition on the example of the small town of Erlauf, are thus easily communicated and are directed especially to the following generations, which have hardly any personal connections at the time of the Nazi regime and the war in Europe.
