The restaurant in the Marillenhotel in Angern near Krems is a culinary and eventful calling card of the Wachau. The traditional family business combines two passions: excellent wines and delicious apricot products.
The apricot landlady Ilse Tanzer is particularly well-known for her fine apricot creations: from fruity-sweet apricot strudel and homemade apricot dumplings to fine apricot desserts in a glass. Aromatic apricot juices, liqueurs or the popular apricot frizzante are also served - a refreshing specialty for connoisseurs.
The culinary offer is complemented by a varied range of experiences:
- Lilli's apricot garden in Paudorf invites you to take a walk among blossoming or fruiting apricot trees and offers interesting facts about the Wachau apricot cultivation.
- The apricot adventure trail combines exercise in nature with informative stations where visitors can learn more about the history, care and processing of apricots.
- In the farm store, guests will find a large selection of Aufreiter products - from fine wines and apricot specialties to handmade jams and fine gift ideas.
