Wine discoveries

Where wine and enjoyment form a unity

Where the finest culinary delights meet fine wines, the Wachau and Krems Valley ("Kremstal" in German) wine-growing regions reveal their full fascination. Covering around 3,700 hectares – equivalent to approximately 5,000 football pitches – wine is cultivated here in impressive locations up to 450 metres above sea level.

At tastings around the world, wines from the Wachau and surrounding regions regularly receive the highest awards. The exquisite wines of local winegrowers are presented in numerous wine shops and wine stores – places where passion, tradition and craftsmanship can be felt.

In these well-kept treasure troves, you can taste and discover the region's "liquid gold" and take it home with you as a special souvenir.
