A winemaking tradition since 1700 and a business where three generations pull together is something to be proud of! Andreas Herzinger cultivates 12 hectares of vineyards in the best locations around Nussdorf and presses a wide range of wines in the historic vaulted cellar, with Grüne Veltliner at the heart and a tasty variety of wines ranging from Riesling, Roter Veltliner, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay to Pinot Noir and Blauer Zweigelt. Junior Alexander is also already getting involved and has given a promising demonstration of his talent with his first own wine, the Grüne Veltliner "Alexander". Senior Reinhard is responsible for distilling at the Herzingers - fine distillates are just as much a part of the range as jams and pickled fruit from their own orchards. For guests who want to stay in the Traisental, the Herzinger family offers modern and comfortable guest rooms in the middle of Nussdorf.
