Rohrendorf, the front garden to the Wachau, offers its guests outstanding wines. Excellent wines such as Grüner Veltliner Kaiserstiege, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc and Grüner Veltliner Sandgrube thrive on the loess terraces on the Saubühel plateau: Grüne Veltliner Kaiserstiege, Riesling, Chardonnay, Sauvignon blanc, but also Grüne Veltliner Sandgrube. We also have Blauer Zweigelt Classic, Zweigelt Exclusiv, Blauburgunder, Zweigelt Diabolo, Cuvee Royal, as well as Riesling Auslese and Beerenauslese.
The guided tour with a horse-drawn carriage ride takes you through the longest wine cellar lane in Austria, across our vineyards, where you can taste and get to know our wines. From the 311m high Saubühel with its loess terraces you have a wonderful view of Rohrendorf, Krems and the Tulln basin. Once you reach the top at the "Heinz Conrads Tor", you will receive a souvenir photo on the way home. After the carriage ride, we end at a wine tavern, where you will also learn which wine goes with which food. At home on our estate, you can visit our wine cellar with wooden barrels, some of which hold 10,000 liters of wine
