Then as now, if the inn serves a good Beuschel, it's always worth a stop. One of the best lung ragouts in Lower Austria is undoubtedly served in the Wirtshaus Der G'selchte in Bruck an der Leitha. An intense taste experience awaits guests. The secret of the dish lies in the finely seasoned sauce. The offal is prepared in landlord Thomas Scherhaufer's kitchen for sustainable and enjoyment-oriented reasons. The inn is famous for its roasted liver, kidneys with brains, smoked cordon bleu and hearty goulash. The inn has remained true to itself since 1997 and over generations. The G'selchte is original cuisine that delights and inspires regulars and excursion guests.

Der G'selchte - traditional and original

Guests at Der G'selchte can enjoy traditional tavern dishes. Offal and baked dishes are often reinterpreted - not as a vain end in themselves to demonstrate their own creativity, but because it makes culinary sense. The pub itself is furnished with dark wood and the walls are mostly paneled. The ambience complements the kitchen line well. The guest garden is a welcome retreat in the old town of Bruck an der Leitha. The beer and wine list highlights the region in the best possible way. The in-house vinotheque offers an opulent selection of wines from the Roman remains of Carnuntum.
