The Vinothek Marktcafé Weinsusi is located in a listed Wachau house whose foundation walls date back to 1400. The current premises have been home to a bakery since 1693 - the historic ambience with its original glassed-in smoked kitchen bears witness to the Fahrnberger family's loving and elaborate renovation.
The Marktcafé combines regional delights with a homely and cozy atmosphere. Excellent pastries and cakes from the renowned Haubis bakery complement a carefully selected range of Austrian wines - including Wachau classics and specialties from Burgenland, Styria and Lower Austria.
In addition to coffee variations, sparkling drinks and small hearty snacks, the market café also invites you to browse and take away: a fine selection of regional products - from wine and jams to culinary specialties - is available directly on site and offers the opportunity to take a piece of the Wachau home with you.
