VINOTAKE Dürnstein-Loiben is a vinotheque with character and charm, located in the old gatekeeper's house in Dürnstein - directly on the World Heritage Trail and not far from the Krems Gate.
The vinotheque was founded in 2006 by an association of winegrowers from Dürnstein and Loiben. Visitors have the opportunity to taste and buy more than 53 different regional wines here - varieties that mainly come from the nearby vineyards. In addition to the wines, VINOTAKE also offers regional specialties such as jams, juices, fine brandies and the like; homemade Wachau apricot products are also part of the range.
The ambience is historic: the gatekeeper's house dates back to the Middle Ages and gives the visit a special atmosphere - ideal for escaping from everyday life while experiencing wine and gourmet products from the region.
