The route starts from the regional wine shop in Kirchberg and leads past the Alchemists’ Park to Oberstockstall and the castle of the same name. It continues on quiet side streets to Ottenthal, through the beautiful wine cellar lane uphill into the vineyards. Enjoying the beautiful view, it then goes downhill to Neudegg. Next to the village, beside a rest area with fantastic panoramic views, there is a rare dry grassland slope on a hill that hosts very special flora and fauna. On the left along the way to Großriedenthal, the loess formation "Neun Mauna" can be seen. In Großriedenthal, cycling through a narrow lane leads to the town hall and the medieval parish church. Through a wine cellar lane, the path returns to the vineyards towards Gösing, passing the well-known vineyards "Eisenhut" and "Goldberg". From Gösing, with its beautiful quiet lanes, it goes uphill through cellar lanes, vineyards, and hollow ways in the loess landscape, then downhill again towards Feuersbrunn. This part of the route offers a panoramic view to the Alpine foothills. The elongated wine cellar lane of Feuersbrunn leads into the town center. Along the Wagram edge, the path goes to Fels am Wagram. In Fels, sporty cyclists follow the signposting to the Felser Warte – connected with a steep ascent and descent through two of the numerous Felser wine cellar lanes. A more relaxed option is through the town itself following the "Danube loop". Shortly before Thürnthal, both routes meet again and lead directly past the baroque-classical castle and via Engelmannsbrunn back to the regional wine shop in Kirchberg.
