The Landgasthaus Böhm in Weinzierl presents itself as down-to-earth, harmonious and extremely tasteful - both in the kitchen and in the service. The family-run country inn is dedicated to traditional tavern cuisine. Nevertheless, Michael Böhm surprises with inventive food creations that bring the wide world to the Tullnerfeld. In service, Maria Böhm ensures a relaxed, feel-good atmosphere and is happy to advise on the choice of suitable wines.
Classic dishes and creative reinterpretations are not mutually exclusive. The team at Landgasthaus Böhm proves this time and time again. Michael Böhm's kitchen line is impressive and has already been awarded two toques. Regional and seasonal ingredients are used for the lunch menu and the seasonally changing evening menu. This is a matter of course at Landgasthaus Böhm. The saffron-chili fish soup with prawns is a hot contender for favorite soup. Those who like it classic should choose the beef soup. The veal Wiener schnitzel and the roasted sirloin steak are complemented by corn-fed chicken and organic Arctic char. Böhm's curd cheese strudel is a tried-and-tested and popular classic of pastry cuisine.
Traditional roots, modern zeitgeist
The history of the establishment can be traced back to 1920. Since 1979, the Böhm family has been the first address for gourmets in Weinzierl. The innkeepers Maria and Michael Böhm have been running the family business in the second generation since 2008. The country inn offers space for up to 80 guests and can cater for up to 110 people with good food and excellent drinks in the Laubenhof, the large guest garden.
