Winzerhof Haiderer

The Haiderer winery is located in Rohrendorf in the Krems Valley ("Kremstal" in German) wine-growing region.

Matthias took over the business from his father Leopold in 2007. He is still supported by his father and mother Berta. Matthias completed his training at the Krems School of Viticulture and was awarded his master craftsman's certificate in January 2009.

From now on he belongs to the progressive generation of young Austrian winegrowers. The 9 hectares of terraced vineyards, most of which are south-facing, are located exclusively in Rohrendorf. Loess and primary rock soils provide the vines with the best conditions for growing good wines in the vineyard.
