Gastronomy and agriculture are inextricably linked. Like salt and pepper. Or vinegar and oil. The secret of success is "togetherness" - this is precisely the strength of the Wirtshaus Langthaler in Emmersdorf, which has been family-owned for eight generations. It is a well-known fact: The demand for high-quality products with a regional connection is constantly increasing. This makes it all the more pleasing that the Langthaler family also runs a farm alongside their inn. The closeness to nature is unmistakable. The wood in the interior comes from the local forests and gives the property an unmistakable character. The products in the kitchen are also sourced from far and wide. Straw pigs, red deer, roe deer, fruit and vegetables come from our own hunting grounds.
The history of the house goes back to 1812. Today, Sonja and Franz Langthaler run the business and pamper their guests with superb inn cuisine. The Bauernpfandl with roasted dumplings, onions, meat and cabbage is perfect for those with a big appetite. The roast venison with napkin dumplings, cranberries and red cabbage is prepared to perfection. Grandma's rye bread deserves the description "crispy and flaky". Not to be sneezed at is the raw ham from the straw pig - on the pub plate or to take home. In addition to sausage and meat specialties, the farm store offers an exquisite selection of organic products, which can also be ordered online in the store. The carriage rides, riding lessons and deer feeding sessions are a special experience for families. You can also stay a night longer - either in the cozy vacation apartments or use one of the inn's camper van pitches.
