The inn ‘Zur Veste Liechtenstein’ is run by us, Johannes and Karin Burchhart, in the third generation. In our kitchen we use regional and seasonal products that we source from local businesses. In addition to our home-style cooking, we serve a grilled chicken dinner once a month!
We also run a farm. In addition to market crops such as maize, wheat and sugar beet, we also grow potatoes. We process these daily into potato salad and side dishes such as roast potatoes and pertersilia potatoes.
The apples from our own orchard are used to produce naturally cloudy apple juice.
Our agricultural land also includes a vineyard in Pixendorf, from which we produce grape juice, Grüner Veltliner (quality wine) and Pinot Blanc (quality wine).
You don't have to miss out on a ‘schnapps’ after your meal! We offer homemade brandies from apricot to plum for your enjoyment.
