The Strasser Hof is located at the foot of the Kamp Valley ("Kamptal" in German), close to Austria's largest wine town. So it's no surprise that the innkeepers Nina and Alexander Eisenbock pay great attention to wine. Over 60 wineries from the region are represented on the drinks menu. These include wines from the family's own vineyards. This regionality is also evident in many other areas of the family-run inn in Straß - but above all in the cuisine, which is considered down-to-earth and home-style. The ingredients are delivered fresh daily from the local forests, waters, pastures and gardens.
The wine and the Strasser Hof
In addition to the wine and the grandiose tavern cuisine, the Strasser Hof is also known as a country hotel. A combination that will appeal to people with an affinity for good food. Guests can choose between cozy parlors and banquet rooms as well as between traditional and newly interpreted dishes. The pink roasted saddle of venison is served with chanterelle sauce. The potato and cabbage roulade is an original taste experience. The homemade pumpkin gnocchi or the vegan cabbage rolls with spinach, carrots and herb sauce will make you happy without meat. The excursions on offer are also full of flavor, especially the LOISIUM WeinWelt and the Kittenberger adventure gardens.
