In the middle of the picturesque landscape of the Wagram lies an insider's tip: the Weinhaus. It attracts diners with its exceptional cuisine and excellent wine list and also brings together a team of restaurateurs with international experience.
The bistronomy concept that Lukas Humer, Rafael Reisser and Eric Broz have come up with for this restaurant takes the Weinhaus am Wagram, which has been in existence for 50 years, to a new level. While it was already a well-known culinary meeting place in the region, this will continue in the new direction.

The three thoroughbred restaurateurs describe the new wine house "as a balancing act between dinner and wine accompaniment". In keeping with the "wine bistro motto", regional delicacies such as prosciutto from Wagram or cheese from Robert Paget with home-pickled vegetables can be enjoyed with a matching bottle of wine (also by the glass), selected by sommelier Eric Broz. The wine list features local winemakers such as Bernhard Ott, Franz Leth, Clemens Strobl, Anton Bauer and Karl Fritsch, as well as well-known names from the neighboring Wachau region, for whom the wine house becomes a stage.

The modern ambience of the revitalized wine house, which is located in the middle of the picturesque village of Kirchberg, underlines the approach of wanting to create something completely new here.

Chefs Lukas Humer and Rafael Reisser offer reinterpreted classics, from onion soup to Buchteln with vanilla sauce, organic ingredients from the surrounding area, home-grown herbs and monthly changing menus of 3 to 7 courses, which are also available as purely vegetarian options. Radlberg salmon trout with currant or roasted white asparagus with walnut and pear are currently on the seasonal menu and give a foretaste of the refined creations of the house.

Those who would like to stay longer after dessert are also invited to do so: two stylishly furnished rooms welcome guests. In the morning, you can return to the hotel's breakfast specialties.
