Weingut und Heuriger Buchecker is located just 6 kilometers from Krems, nestled in the picturesque Lössterrassen of the Krems Valley ("Kremstal" in German). The young, dynamic winery combines clear ideas with a great closeness to nature - a winegrower with a tangible feel for the soil, climate and what constitutes real character.The wines are juicy and powerful, often characterized by the mighty loess formations that fill every terroir with warmth and expression.
The wine tavern Buchecker offers enjoyment at a down-to-earth level: in the rustic parlor you will find classic wine tavern cuisine and specialties from the family, such as game dishes from their own production. If you want to sit outside, there is a sunny garden on warm days, while a large tiled stove creates a cozy atmosphere inside in winter.
For families, there are also offers such as a children's play corner or the so-called play meadow in summer, so that the little ones feel at home while parents enjoy wine and snacks. There are even specially created snacks for children, such as the "Krokofax".
