Wein & Keramik Schneeweiß

Sabine Schneeweiß lovingly hand-pots ceramics: utensils, wine coolers, emerald lizards and many other motifs typical of the Wachau region in her workshop, which is located in the "Alte Salzstadl'n". She graduated from the master school for ceramics in Graz, after which she decided to continue her profession at home and combine it with wine. Little by little, more objects were created to go with the wine.

When an expert skillfully shapes a lump of clay on the potter's wheel with his hands, it may look simple to the layman at first. In reality, however, it takes a great deal of time and patience to really learn this skill. Sabine Schneeweiß can lay claim to this. Tasty gifts, homemade jams, chutneys, apricot specialties and wines from her own vineyard round off the range. Speaking of wines: father Anton Schneeweiß presses excellent wines, with Grüne Veltliner and Riesling being the main focus, and of course it is best to see the beautiful and unique ceramics for yourself. By the way, the Smaragd lizard, which you will find on many of the products, is the symbol of the highest level of Vinea Wachau.
