Lively castle life: The listed Würmla Castle in the Lower Austrian district of Tulln in Lower Austria was first mentioned in documents in the 14th century - as the seat of the Lords of Pain. In 1894, a new castle was built over a moated castle from the 16th century. From 2000 to 2002, this was finally converted into apartments.
