The Kamp Valley ("Kamptal-Schönberg" in German) Nature Park in the south-eastern Waldviertel at the transition to the Weinviertel is characterized by the river landscape along the Kamp (from the Celtic word "kambos" - the "bent one"). Other striking landscape elements are the slopes of the vineyards and the forests of the Manhartsberg, which line the river here. A wine trail, a forest trail and a river trail inform visitors about the special features of this nature park, which is home to other special habitats such as rough pastures, dry grasslands and alluvial forests. A new forest discovery trail and river discovery trail have recently been added for younger visitors.
